    Ray Brooks, a British-born actor, appeared in a variety of movies throughout his Hollywood career. Brooks began his acting career appearing mainly in films, such as the dramatic adaptation "H.M.S. Defiant" (1962) with Alec Guinness, "The Knack... and How to Get It" (1965) and the action film "The Last Grenade" (1970) with Stanley Baker. He also appeared in the TV movie "Baffled!" (NBC, 1972-73). In the seventies and the eighties, Brooks devoted his time to various credits, such as "Coffy" (1973) starring Pam Grier, "The Dukes of Hazzard" (CBS, 1978-1985) and "Death of an Expert Witness" (PBS, 1985-86). Brooks had a number of different projects under his belt in the eighties and the nineties, including "Blackwater Summer" (1989), "White Men Can't Jump" (1992) and "Wyatt Earp" (1994) starring Kevin Costner.
