We all know Bharti Singh as the jolly woman with a loud laughter and wicked sense of humour. She can have a whole room full of people in splits with her jokes and witticisms in no time.
As a result, she has become one of India's most beloved comedians, known for her infectious laughter and sense of humor. But her path to success was far from easy, as she recently shared in a podcast hosted by actress Neena Gupta.
Born into extreme poverty, Bharti lost her father at a young age, and her siblings had to support the family. They worked long hours in a factory, stitching heavy blankets and dupattas, just to make ends meet.
